Mauro Colagreco’s Detox Juice Recipe

For two people
-1 Granny Smith apple
-3 oranges
– Half a cucumber
-1/3 celery stalk
– 2 spinach leaves
– 1 stalk parsley
– 1 small ginger (size of a finger)

Remove the skin from the ginger. Squeeze the orange. Cut the apple and cucumber into small dice. Add the orange juice to the blender along with the chopped apple and cucumber as well as the other ingredients. Mix everything then have a low enough texture in the mouth with a strainer. Serve in a glass and add 2 ice cubes.

Mauro Colagreco’s Herbal Tea Recipe

For 1l
– 1 liter of water
-7 grams of hibiscus
– 3 sprigs of mint (equivalent to 10/12 leaves) or 2 pinches of dried mint
-3 nettle leaves or 2 pinches of snowflake nettle (easy to find in supermarkets)
– 1 tablespoon of honey

Bring water to boil (100°C). Cut the mint sprigs in half and clap them between your hands (this will help release the aroma more quickly during the infusion and avoid too much astringency). Put a spoonful of honey, nettle leaves, hibiscus, as well as mint sprigs in a teapot, then pour hot water over it. (Don’t forget to put the ingredients in this order). Cover for 7 minutes then serve.
